GoMind turns Markdown headings and lists into an editable mind map. Use it as a visual mirror of an outline: inspect which branch carries too much detail, which section repeats an idea, and where an explanation is missing. After reviewing the structure, export the map as JPG, PNG, SVG or PDF.

Which Markdown visualization do you need?

Markdown to mindmap: make the hierarchy explicit

1. Open the Markdown to mind map tool, paste your outline, or upload a .md file.
2. Use one main heading for the subject and smaller headings for branches. Review the map after import.
3. Move nodes, choose a layout, and add missing context before exporting.

In the map, compare the Audience, Readiness and Follow-up branches. If Readiness dominates the canvas, split its work into smaller decisions. If Follow-up is empty, add an owner and a concrete next action. Visualization helps reveal these questions; it does not automatically judge whether your content is correct.

Markdown to JPG, PNG or picture

For a shareable image, import the Markdown and finish arranging the map first. Open the File tab, choose Export, and select JPG or PNG. Check the image preview, background and watermark settings, then save the file. Watermark-free export requires a paid plan.

Choose JPG for a solid-background picture shared in a message or slide. Choose PNG when you need a transparent background or crisp diagram text. Keep the editable GoMind document alongside the image so that you can revise branches later. SVG and PDF are useful alternatives when the recipient needs scalable output.

If you need a screenshot of a typeset Markdown article, including its original line breaks and page layout, use a document renderer for that task. GoMind's picture export captures the mind map produced from the Markdown structure.

Markdown viewer MCP: review a map with an AI agent

A Markdown viewer displays content. MCP, the Model Context Protocol, lets a compatible AI client call tools exposed by another application. GoMind provides a local MCP server for reading and working with its canvas. See the MCP setup guide for the supported clients and connection steps.

1. Import the Markdown into the GoMind app and open the resulting document.
2. Enable GoMind's MCP server and connect your compatible AI client using the setup guide.
3. Ask the agent to inspect the current hierarchy and suggest a clearer structure. Review edits in the app, then export the result when ready.

The separate GoMind Viewer is a read-only reader for GoMind documents. Use the full GoMind app for editing and local MCP operations. A public webpage is not itself the local MCP endpoint.

Common questions

Does importing Markdown require AI credits?

Structured Markdown import uses the document hierarchy. It does not require an AI generation step. AI features are separate.

Can I paste an AI-generated outline?

Yes. Check heading levels, repeated sections and missing context before relying on the resulting map.

Can I turn the picture back into editable Markdown?

A JPG or PNG is a static image. Keep your editable map and use Markdown export when you need text again.

Is every export format free of watermarks?

Watermark-free export is a paid feature. Check the current plan comparison before choosing a workflow.
